About Latex Rubber Mattresses

The process that creates the latex rubber cores in our mattresses is called Vulcanization. The liquid latex is put into a mold and a baking process follows to create the bubbles. To complete the latex is then cooled quickly, curing and finally washing the mattress to rinse out residual minerals and soap. Our product is 100% natural with a rubber content of approximately 98%+ after the washing process takes place. All of the ingredients listed are natural and necessary to produce latex. Pure, natural rubber is harvested as milky sap using sustainable farming practices exclusively from the “Hevea Brasiliensis” tree native to south east Asia. This natural rubber is the main content, but without the other ingredients, latex cannot be produced. Our 100% natural latex rubber has no artificial additives to dilute its quality. Nor does it contain harmful chemicals and fire retardants.

This “eco friendly” product is naturally hypoallergenic, dust mite resistant and will not support mildew or bacteria. Our mattresses will last for 20-30 years, after which time they are entirely biodegradable, so can be composted!

The rubber plant that manufactures these mattresses is ISO 9001 certified, a mark of excellence that indicates consistency and quality in the industry . We do our best to pass on this high level of standards and value to the consumer.
